Quahog Bay Farm

This farm house had been in this charming family for generations. With changing times, these terrific folks sought to convert the barn into a year-round, energy efficient home suitable for retirement, freeing up the wonderful old farmhouse for their many visitors. Flow was very important here, as we kept in mind the possibility of accessibility needs in the future. A clean, simple color palette was used, enlivened by the rich texture of wood salvaged from the barn itself. This provided the perfect, contemporary yet cozy backdrop for their exquisite collection of family antiques and international art.
